Apple Mail has now stored your updated email password: go to Mailbox > Get All New Mail or press Command+Shift+N on your keyboard, and it will download any new messages from the server by supplying the correct email account password this time. The phone does NOT prompt you for a new password. Now hit Esc to dismiss the Preferences dialog and hit Return (or click Save) to return to Mac Mail and change your email password. Settings > Accounts and Sync > (Select your Exchange email) > Account Settings > (Select your added account) > Scroll down to Sub heading 'Sever Settings' > Exchange server settings. If you need to change your email password for another account, just select it on the left and follow these same steps for it. To connect to your Mac, Windows users need the network address for your Mac, and a username and password to use. Outlook 2016 for Mac works fine and all windows clients are working fine so it seems to be a Mac Mail issue. I am getting Unable to Verify account name or password.
It works fine with our Exchange 2013 server.
When I enter it, it is not accepted even though the password is correct. Looks like the latest version of Mac Mail on Sierra doesn't work with Exchange 2016. If you see a password field for your account, delete the password and type. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Internet Accounts. If it doesn't quit, you can force it to quit.
